Community Forums

Have an opinion? Want to be heard? Community forums are an excellent way of putting forward your point of view, as well as hearing what other members of the community have to say on issues which are important to you. These public meetings enable the Council, community and other organisations to work collaboratively. The objective of Council's forum is to improve community engagement and communication by creating an opportunity for interactive discussion of emerging issues for Council and the community.

Community Forums are events comprising of short presentations about key community topics, as well as time to informally talk with Council Members and senior staff. It is a great opportunity to find out what's happening in your region and give your feedback.

Community presentations will be held during the forum in addition to Council presentations. Members of the community are invited prior to the event to register their interest in presenting a topic they think will be of interest. Email your expression of interest to mail@ahc.sa.gov.au or phone (08) 8408 0400 by Monday 13 March 2017 for consideration.

Forums run periodically throughout the year from 6:30pm until 8:30pm with supper from 6:00pm. The location of forums is determined at the beginning of the year and change annually.
