Senior Infrastructure Planning Engineer

General Officer Level 7: $94,573 - $100,397 plus superannuation
Permanent, full-time position

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced asset management practitioner to provide leadership, influence and direction in Council's asset management and infrastructure planning functions.

You will have tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering (or a related discipline) or lesser formal qualifications with extensive experience in asset management and/or infrastructure planning. You will have a high level of knowledge of asset management principles and demonstrated experience in developing asset management plans and the initiation and planning of rolling infrastructure programs and projects. You will be a confident and clear communicator who can engage constructively and positively with a wide range of stakeholders.  You must have demonstrated knowledge of Enterprise Asset Management and GIS software. Your ability to lead a multidisciplinary team to achieve results in a positive, accountable team based environment will be critical to your success in this role.

Coordinator Civil Operation

Salary range of $89,826 - $95,655 plus superannuation and private use of a motor vehicle
Permanent, full-time position

We are seeking a team player who has demonstrated experience leading and motivating field based employees and contractors and can play a critical role in the development and delivery of Council's construction, maintenance and civil infrastructure programs.

You will have tertiary qualifications in Civil Engineering or lesser formal qualifications combined with demonstrated relevant experience in civil construction and maintenance works. You will have a comprehensive knowledge of the Local Government Act 1999 (SA), the relevant Australian Standards and Work Health and Safety requirements. Demonstrated contract management experience and a sound understanding of project management practices are essential. You will be a confident and clear communicator with demonstrated experience leading and motivating a team to achieve results. You must also hold a current 'C' class Driver's Licence and Construction Safety Awareness Certificate (White Card).
