Community Wastewater Management Systems (CWMS) Technical Officer - Reference #423
General Officer Level 5: $77,665 – $81,088 plus superannuation
Full time, 12 month fixed term contract

We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and suitably qualified individual to contribute to the management and operation of Council’s CWMS.

You will have in depth experience working in a CWMS regulatory, technical and operational environment.  Your ability to review and analyse information, and to negotiate and develop positive and productive working relationships with a variety of stakeholders will be critical to your success in this role.  Extensive project management experience and high level written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Based in Woodside, we are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to use their extensive planning assessment experience and excellent interpersonal skills to deliver positive development outcomes for a variety of land uses across the Council area. As part of the Development Services team, there will also be opportunities to contribute to strategic initiatives and Council projects.

You will have tertiary qualifications in urban and regional planning and a detailed knowledge of the Development Act and Regulations. You will have a strong track record of assessing complex development applications and working with multiple stakeholders to achieve balanced decision-making. You will also possess a keen eye for detail and well-developed organisational skills.
