Roadside Vegetation Management Plan

The Roadside Vegetation Management Plan guides best practice toward the strategic management and operation of road reserves within the Adelaide Hills Council region.  The plan places an emphasis on community engagement and consultation.

The (RMS) Roadside Marker Scheme sites (blue marker) denote environmental significance and status - category 1 & 2, therefore a primary focus of the document is to ensure RMS sites are managed correctly in respect to conservation, vegetation clearances, weed mitigation, grading and pathogen control. Strong engagement and support for RMS sites is received through friends of, volunteer groups and community based environmental organisations.
