Australia Day in the Hills

Australia Day is the perfect opportunity to come together and celebrate the achievements of our local community and the exceptional people that have made outstanding contributions.

Events will be held across the district to welcome new citizens and acknowledge the contributions of community leaders through presentation of Citizen of the Year and Civic Awards. Gather your family and friends and join your Hills community for a day of celebrations.

9:30am - 12:30pm (formalities commence at 10:00am)
Mayor Bill Spragg will welcome new Australian citizens to the Adelaide Hills and award the Adelaide Hills Council Citizen, Young Citizen, and Community Event of the Year. Food, music and children's entertainment will ensure the celebration is a great day out for everyone.

Community celebrations will be held throughout the district by various community groups. The following events will include the presentation of Civic Awards by our Ward Council Members.
