Adelaide Hills Stories: our people, our community, our home
Adelaide Hills Council 20th Anniversary Art Exhibition and Acquisitive Prize
To celebrate 20 years of bringing hills communities together, we are inviting artists who live, work or play in the Adelaide Hills to exhibit at 'Adelaide Hills Stories: our people, our community, our home'. Artwork will be on exhibition in the newly appointed Arts and Heritage Hub at the Lobethal Woollen Mill in the Gallery, Building 20 from late November to early December with prizes awarded on opening night.
We invite artists who are resident or active in the Adelaide Hills to respond to the people, and connected communities that make the Adelaide Hills a great place to live, work and play. Reflect on what it means to work together for the benefit of our communities, celebrating our proud history and heritage and building a great future.
It's been 20 years since the Adelaide Hills Council was established in 1997 by amalgamating of the District Council of East Torrens, the District Council of Gumeracha, the District Council of Onkaparinga and the District Council of Stirling. The event celebrates bringing our communities together.
