Don't miss your local Christmas Pageant

Christmas is on its way and that means it time for Christmas Pageants.

These fun events are organised through the tireless work of passionate community members, schools, businesses, and (probably) elves, and are a great way to celebrate the season with your community.

​First to greet the Man in the Red Suit is Stirling on Sunday 12 November 2017(brought to you by the Hut Community Centre Inc).
Commences at 11:30am
Pageant along Mt Barker Road from Druid Avenue to Stirling Oval
Road closures in place from 10:00am until approximately 1:00pm (Druid Ave closed from 9:30am).


As the big day approaches you can ride your sleigh into Woodside for their parade on Thursday 21 December 2017 (brought to you by the Woodside Commerce Association Inc).
Commences at 7:00pm
Pageant along Onkaparinga Valley Road (looping at Station Road)
Road closures in place from 6:30pm until approximately 9:30pm.
Note: a dry zone will be in effect for the duration of this event and no alcohol will be allowed in the pageant area.


Finally, say hello to Father Christmas in Lobethal on Friday 22 December 2017 (brought to you by Lights of Lobethal Inc).
Commences at 7:30pm
Pageant along Main Street from Pioneer Avenue to Lobethal Recreation Ground
Road closures in place from 6:00pm until approximately 9:00pm.
Note: a dry zone will be in effect for the duration of this event and no alcohol will be allowed in the wider Lobethal township.

An order has been made under Section 33 of the Road Traffic Act 1961 for the roads listed above in the Adelaide Hills Council district to be closed for the purpose of the events indicated. Participants taking part in the above events are exempted from all Australian Road Rules relating to pedestrian behaviour, wearing of seatbelts and carriage of persons on vehicles or trailers.
