Grants now open for emergency equipment and ANZAC Day activities

​Two state initiatives for helpful community grant money have recently opened for application.

SAFECOM and the Government of SA are offering grants for emergency equipment as part of their Regional Capability Community Fund (RCCF). Grants available for purchase include water storage tanks and transfer pumps, private farm fire units, personal protective equipment, and other emergency equipment such as vehicle-mounted UHF radios and sand bagging machines.

Approved applicants could secure 50% of the product purchase price, up to a maximum of $2,500 (GST exclusive). Applications close on Thursday 29 March 2018, click here for all the details including an online application process.

Also released are state grants pertaining to the commemoration of Australia's involvement in WWI. The ANZAC Day Commemoration Council is offering funding of up to $100,000 for projects including commemoration events, exhibitions, research, community education activities and the restoration of memorials.
