Help us uncover our Hills Treasures

The Hills are full of older people who are Treasures.

The hunt is on again to celebrate older Adelaide Hills people you treasure the most.

Hills Treasures are not necessarily about big achievements. Your Treasure might be the best storyteller, the best cook, or the best neighbour - or just the one person in the world who makes you feel like no one else can.

The Adelaide Hills Council, Mt Barker District Council, and Strathalbyn and Milang in the Alexandrina Council have joined forces to encourage people to nominate their very own Hills Treasure.

Your Hills Treasure might be a grandparent, work colleague, neighbour or friend. The only criteria is they live within these Council areas and be aged 65 or over (or 50 years or over for Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander people).

Your Hills Treasure nominee will receive a special certificate and will be invited with you to attend a free celebratory afternoon tea in October.

Nominations open 1 August and close 31 August. Click here to download a nomination form and start telling us about your Hills Treasure.
