With plenty of vantage points to see the cycling action, Staging Connections Stage 2 has been labelled the most challenging and exciting in the history of the Tour Down Under by former pro cyclist Patrick Jonker.

Party in Paracombe
Paracombe Recreation Grounds | 11am - 3pm
Paracombe hosts one of the most highly anticipated and challenging stage finishes of the Santos Tour Down Under. Join us in Paracombe for the thrilling battle across the finish line and celebrate the stage winner among activities and refreshments on the Paracombe Recreation Ground.
Kaurna Cronin and Conchillia will deliver the musical goods on the main stage from 11am, so grab your lunch, pull up a picnic rug and soak up the beauty of Paracombe and some highly talented South Australian musicians. Also, don't miss out on the debut of Jimmy Dodd's Pedal Powered Percussion Contraption!

Staging Connections Stage 2 Road closures
As the Santos Tour Down Under travels through the Adelaide Hills, roads will be temporarily be closed by SA Police to ensure the safety of cyclists, their entourage and spectators. In addition to this, there are some longer-term closures in the Adelaide Hills Council district:

Mt Barker Road from Gould Road to Avenue Road, Stirling | 6am - approx. 2pm
Druid Avenue from Martha Street to Mt Barker Road, Stirling | 6am - approx. 6:30pm
Staging Connections Stage 2 finish - Paracombe, Wednesday 18 January 2017
Paracombe Road from Torrens Hill Road to Hurst Road, Paracombe
6am - approx. 6:30pm
Note: Torrens Hill Road (Subaru King of the Mountain) may be closed in advance of the World Tour Riders if it is deemed too crowded.
