Roads, Footpaths, and DrainageCouncil's Engineering Department is responsible for the maintenance of its roads, footpaths, and drainage systems. During the maintenance crews travels they often find and repair faults, however due to the large and rural nature of the Council there are many faults that we don't come across. If you spot an issue that requires attention (such as potholes, blocked drains, broken footpath) then please contact Council's Customer Services during office hours and they will create a Customer Action Request (CAR) for the crews to inspect (and if required) repair the fault. From time to time during peak problem period (i.e. heavy rain and storms) there may be some delays to the works being undertaken due to the large number of requests however please be patient. In some instances the problems are larger than a simple maintenance repair and some escalate to Council's Engineering Department for further investigation.
Council's Customer Services can be reached on 8408 0400. If you have an emergency then Council has an after hours service for emergencies only and this can be accessed by telephoning Council's normal telephone number - 8408 0400.
