Phytophthora

Phytophthora ('fy-toff-thora') is a water mould killing our native and certain commercial and ornamental plants. The best means of managing the threat in our district is to apply hygiene procedures that are consistent within the state. Council has a co-operative arrangement with National Parks & Wildlife SA and other land managers to contain the spread of this disease. The following information will assist in understanding and application of current best management practice.
