Press Release - Ombudsman's Report released

6 February 2012
SA Ombudsman, Mr Richard Bingham, has recently released the final report of his findings into five allegations of unreasonable, incorrect or unlawful behaviours by the Adelaide Hills Council. In his report, Mr Bingham concluded that in four of the five complaints, the actions taken by the Council were not unlawful, unreasonable or wrong.

Adelaide Hills Council is calling for nominations from local residents experienced in one or more of the fields of biodiversity, conservation, energy/water security, sustainability, greenhouse gas reduction and/or waste management who are interested in taking part in the second term of an advisory group which aims to inform Council’s sustainability agenda. Applications are to be recieved by 29 February 2012 and selection criteria are available.
