As a regular library visitor and a book lover, it seemed fitting that Julie spread her passion for books even further by becoming a home delivery service volunteer for our libraries.
Volunteering in the library is Khouen's way of connecting with his community while his children are at school and wife is working full time. It's his way of building resilience, embracing generosity and supporting others in his community.
Age is not a barrier to volunteer with Council. Kyle and Sterre are two valued members of our Youth Advisory Committee and are both passionately leading the charge in developing opportunities for Hills youth to participate in Hills life.
After busy working lives, Robert and Wally were looking for opportunities to take things slower while remaining active, connected and challenged. Volunteering has given them opportunities and connections that have made retired life all that much better.
