Adelaide Hills Council, in partnership with the Gumeracha Main Street Project, is seeking expressions of interest from artists for a public art project in Gumeracha.

The final piece of art will feature on the road-adjacent wall (and possibly fence) on the western entrance to the town and will be 170m long.

A mural depicting the Gumeracha Spirit Frog adorns the Gumeracha Primary School hall will feature opposite the western-most end of the new works, and it will sit underneath the Gumeracha Memorial Hospital.

Expressions of interest open 14 September and close at 11:00am ACST, 5 October 2019. After shortlisting and a final artist being awarded the project, the final works is expected to be complete in April 2020.
