Cudlee Creek bushfire

On Friday, 20th December 2019, an uncontrolled fire ignited in Cudlee Creek, burning over 25,000 hectares of the district, including homes, outbuildings, vehicles, and other property.

Recovery is a unique journey for each individual and family, and we recognise that it will be a lengthy process for our district.

Cherry Gardens bushfire

On Monday, 25th January 2021, an uncontrolled fire ignited in Cherry Gardens, burning over 2,700 hectares of the district, including buildings.

Recovery is a personal journey, and we acknowledge that it will be a lengthy process for our community.
