A message from Acting Mayor, Nathan Daniell following the Bondi tragedy
Following the tragic events in Bondi, my thoughts are with all those affected, including the people of New South Wales, our colleagues at Waverley Council, and particularly the Jewish community at this incredibly difficult time.
I extend my heartfelt support to those in our community who have been impacted by this deeply distressing event. Everyone deserves to feel safe and be able to celebrate their culture safely with loved ones.
Our Council is committed to fostering an inclusive community that embraces diversity. At times like these it is important to focus on what connects us and to move forward with kindness, compassion, and care for one another.
