The Mount Torrens and Districts Community Association has officially launched the Discover Mount Torrens Heritage Trail App, offering an interactive self-guided tour of this historic township.
Mount Torrens is one of only 17 State Heritage Areas in South Australia, and this app invites you to step back in time and uncover why. Through the app, you can explore over 30 historic buildings, each with fascinating stories, architectural quirks, and cultural significance.
Highlights include a rare Australian building style; two-storey homes with single-storey shop or cottage extensions, as well as charming stone cottages and modest heritage homes.
