Free garden mulch offer
Now is a great time to mulch the garden before summer and we are offering residents a FREE load of mulch!
We are offering a free load of mulch when residents drop off a paid load of organics or general waste, at the Heathfield Resource Recovery Centre.
Offer dates: 17 July to 1 November 2023 (unless stock runs out).
Location: Heathfield Resource Recovery Centre, 32 Scott Creek Road Heathfield.
Offer conditions:
- For every paid load of waste or organics disposed at the Heathfield Resource Recovery Centre, residents can access a free load of mulch
- The mulch must be taken on the same day as the disposal of items
- All loads must be covered prior to leaving the site
- The offer is also available on Free Green Organic Drop Off Days, however, a voucher will be provided for the mulch to be collected on a non-Free Green Organic Drop Off Day (mulch will not be provided on these days due to our limited capacity to load the much during this busy period).
Heathfield Resource Recovery Centre
The Heathfield Resource Recovery Centre (HRRC) is a multi-stream recycling facility where residents can recycle or dispose of waste.
Free Green Organics Drop Off Days
Green organic drop off days are one way that Council helps residents to prepare for bushfire danger season and maintain green organic waste on their property. Green organic waste will be turned into high quality mulch, soil and compost products.
