Lucy Huxter appointed as Deputy Mayor

Councillor Lucy Huxter has been appointed Deputy Mayor of Adelaide Hills Council. 

As a proud Lobethal local, Lucy is passionate about making sure the Adelaide Hills is the best place to live, do business, and raise a family. 

"It is a real privilege to have been elected Deputy Mayor of the Adelaide Hills Council. I care a lot about our community and will continue to listen, work collaboratively and support thoughtful decisions that strengthen the special part of the world that we live in, now and for the next generation. said Deputy Mayor, Huxter.

Cr Huxter has represented the Valleys Ward since 2022 and has served as acting Deputy Mayor since November 2025. She will remain as Deputy Mayor until the November 2026 general election.
