Library Lovers’ Day is celebrated internationally on 14 February each year, and it’s the perfect time to celebrate the special place libraries hold in our lives.

This Library Lovers’ Day, Adelaide Hills Council Libraries invite you to pop in, slow down and share the love, whether that’s with a great book, or a fun activity.

What’s on the day?

When you visit your local library on Saturday 14 February, you can:

• Enter a lucky door prize
• Enjoy colouring-in activities
• Pick up a romantic read
• Borrow DVDs and cookbooks for the perfect date night
• Write a love letter to the library
• Try a ‘blind date with a book’ and discover something new
