Council Members
The Adelaide Hills Council area is represented by a Mayor and 12 Council Members who play a vital leadership role by representing the interests of our community and delivering on the Council's vision and strategic direction.
The votes have been counted and the results are in: here are your Adelaide Hills Council elected members for the next four years.
Jan-Claire Wisdom will serve as Mayor after being re-elected unopposed in the 2022 Adelaide Hills Council Local Government elections.
She will be joined on Council by four first-time councillors and eight returning councillors.
The new council was officially sworn in on Tuesday 22 November and brings a winning mix of new ideas and fresh energy coupled with long term experience to provide our community with outstanding service and decision making.
Mayor Wisdom said that "on a personal note I am thrilled we now have a gender balance among councillors - this has been an ambition of mine."
"We will soon be reviewing our Strategic and Long-Term Financial plans and I am confident we have a good mix of experience, skills and perspectives to tackle the challenges we face now and into the future."
While we are sad to say goodbye to our retiring Councillors, who between them have given the community over 70 years of service, we are happy to welcome back our returning Councillors and delighted to welcome four new members into the chamber - we look forward to their contribution.
Returning councillors include Kirrilee Boyd, Nathan Daniel, Pauline Gill, Chris Grant, Malcom Herman, Leith Mudge, Mark Osterstock and Kirsty Parkin.
New councillors include Adrian Cheater, Lucy Huxter, Louise Pascale and Melanie Selwood.
