Meet Lisa:

A Stirling local and single mum to a 9 year old son, with over two decades of experience in people-centric industries including hospitality, tourism, business development and stakeholder engagement.

My perspective is shaped by life across other countries and cultures, and grounded in the lived experience of parenting a child with additional needs. I bring empathy, resilience and a collaborative mindset, along with a deep appreciation for inclusion and real world connection in a time of growing social disconnection.

Council plays a vital role in bringing people together. I’m committed to respectful, transparent and community first decision making. Priorities include safe, reliable service delivery, sustainable development, support for local business, youth engagement, vibrant community spaces and responsible fiscal management.

Adelaide Hills deserves future focused leadership that listens, learns and works together to deliver outcomes that help communities thrive.

Meet Alex:

I nominated for Council to strengthen local industries, grow regional tourism, and help the Adelaide Hills lead in environmental excellence.

I’m a vineyard owner, winemaker, and President of the Adelaide Hills Wine Region Association, with practical experience in regional leadership, sustainability, and small business. I also serve on the wine region’s Environment Sub-Committee, advocating for responsible land management and environmental stewardship.

I’ve worked with Hills vineyards since 2007, owned property here since 2018, and have lived in Lenswood since 2021. I’m raising my family here and I care deeply about the future of our region and the community that supports it.

My priorities include supporting local jobs, growing tourism, and strengthening community infrastructure. Having coached junior football in the Hills, I’m passionate about community connection and practical outcomes. I will listen, collaborate, and work hard to represent the diverse voices of the Adelaide Hills.

Meet Richard:

I have lived near Mt Torrens all my life. My family settled in the Adelaide Hills in 1849 and have remained an active part of the community since. I run two dairy farms supplying local cheese factories.

My long-standing history in the area has discovered my passion for the hills and its people. I have always been committed to serving the community, being former Chair of the local church and school, played sport for Mt Torrens, and a member of the local dairy discussion group.

I have been involved in state and national boards, inc. Dairy Farmers Milk Co-op, SA Dairyfarmers (12 years) and Australian Dairy Farmers (6 years, 2 years as President). These roles have developed my skills in leadership, governance, advocacy and strategic planning.

I will be a strong voice for community, focusing on maintaining roads and infrastructure, reducing rates, enhancing small business, tourism and primary production, preserving our heritage and ensuring our elderly are catered for.
