Seal the Deal: Recycle Your Lids!
Do you know what to do with your recycling container lids?
Little lids are like little kids! They will get lost if they're not with the parent (material).
- Collect Steel lids inside of a steel can and close it shut
- Collect foil lids together and scrunch into aluminium foil - you can tell the foil lids because they're not magnetic
- Empty liquids from plastics bottles, flatten the bottle and replace the lid on top
Small plastic lids and other small plastic pieces shouldn’t be placed inside milk or other bottles anymore. Instead, put the plastic lid back on the empty bottle.
