The Santos Tour Down Under rolls through the Hills – plan ahead for road restrictions
The Santos Tour Down Under will be racing through the Adelaide Hills in January, bringing plenty of excitement along with some temporary disruptions to local roads and businesses.
Thursday 22 January
Road closures will be in place in Uraidla township, with rolling stoppages and traffic restrictions across the race route from approximately 11 am to 3.30 pm.
The race will pass through Summertown, Uraidla, Ashton, Balhannah, Lobethal, Lenswood, Cudlee Creek and Paracombe multiple timeswith rolling stoppages impacting:
• Tregarthen Road
• Norton Summit Road
• Stony Rise Road (Ashton)
• Swamp Road (Balhannah)
• Greenhill Road
• Lobethal Road
• Gorge Road
• Corkscrew Road
Sunday 25 January
Road closures will occur in Stirling, with rolling stoppages along the route between approximately 11 am and 3.30 pm.
The race will pass through Aldgate, Mylor, Bradbury, Heathfield and Stirling up to seven times with rolling stoppages impacting:
• Mt Barker Road
• Strathalbyn Road
• Bradbury Road
• Longwood Road
• Avenue Road
Please be aware that it may be difficult to travel around the district on these days or for customers to access homes or businesses.
Plan ahead and allow extra time if you need to be on the roads.
