Work underway on a new Woodside CFS Mural
A vibrant new mural is taking shape on the Woodside Country Fire Service (CFS) building, celebrating the history and evolving role of the CFS within the Adelaide Hills community.
Commissioned by the Woodside CFS, the artwork is being created by South Australian artist Taylr Jay, known for her bold style and storytelling through public art. The mural will depict the dedication of CFS volunteers past and present, honouring their service and highlighting the vital part they play in keeping our community safe.
Work is currently in progress, with plenty of curious residents stopping by to chat and offer encouragement as the artwork comes to life. The community interest reflects the strong local connection to the CFS and the pride many feel in seeing the station’s story represented so prominently.
Once complete, the mural will add colour and character to the streetscape and serve as a lasting tribute to the volunteers who protect the Adelaide Hills.
