General Officer Level 5: $89,624 to $93,574 (FTE) plus superannuation

Part time, permanent (60 hours per fortnight)

Our team works across a 7-day roster. The incumbent will work one weekend shift every month.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to lead and coordinate the development and delivery of library programs, activities and events that support literacy development, lifelong learning, and community wellbeing. You will have the ability to lead, develop and coach a team to achieve strategic and operational outcomes. Your knowledge of traditional and digital literacy and demonstrated experience in the facilitation of programs and/or event coordination is essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships will be critical to your success in this role. Tertiary qualifications (bachelor degree or graduate diploma) in a related field such as library studies or education is required.

This is a prescribed position. As part of Council’s Safe Environments Policy, a current Working with Children Check is a requirement of the position.
