About the Role – Executive Assistant to CEO and Mayor

The Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Mayor is responsible for excelling at providing executive and administrative support requiring a high degree of judgement, initiative, confidentiality, and sensitivity in the performance of the work for the CEO and Mayor. Success in this position will require the incumbent to anticipate what is needed to proactively support the CEO and Mayor.

About You

To be successful in this role you will have:

  • A relevant formal qualification (up to Diploma required) in Business Administration, or lesser formal qualifications with specialised skills sufficient to perform at this level, or an equivalent level of experience and expertise obtained through previous appointments.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to think laterally and find innovative solutions to problems that may be unique or complex.
  • Strong capacity to plan, prioritise and deliver tasks with high level attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Extensive ability to build relationships and influence to gain the necessary commitment and support from diverse stakeholders.
  • High-level of initiative, proactivity and judgement.
