The role of Operational Asset Support Officer is to provide administrative support to the Strategic Assets Team with a focus on Asset Management and Data Analytics. Part of your day to day will be working with mobile workers relating to troubleshooting and/or training.

You will be a part of a team which collaborates with other departments to improve the capture of asset-related data utilising our asset management system. You will be involved in discussing and documenting requirements along with implementing new processes to enhance the recording of planned maintenance and asset lifecycle information.

As part of your role, you will proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders to improve communication between internal systems and improve customer experience. This will include monitoring cases correct allocation through asset management tools.

Operational Asset Support Officer

  • You will be supporting the update and development of policy and procedures.
  • Working closely to progress ongoing integration updates/development between Confirm Asset Management System and Salesforce Customer Management System.
  • Initiate training and support with Field Staff transitioning to asset management mobile solutions.
  • Generate and review financial reports, asset renewal processes, capturing and recording infrastructure assets.
  • Support scoping of business requirements across Civil, Property & Facilities, and Open Space business units.
  • Assist in capturing assets including location, condition, and key criteria across multiple asset classes.

About You

  • To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Experience in developing, implementing and using an asset/maintenance management system.
  • A high level of Microsoft 365 suite, especially working with excel.
  • The ability to work independently along with managing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills to facilitate consulting and training.
  • Well-developed analytical skills
