With the spectacular backdrop of the Adelaide Hills, the 22-kilometre bikeway winds through iconic townships of Oakbank, Woodside, Mount Torrens and the new extension to Birdwood.
Vibrant activity hubs in Woodside and Mount Torrens will be packed with family friendly activities, entertainment and local goodies. The Mount Torrens Market is a must visit and the perfect place to stop in and refresh after the idyllic ride!
It's the perfect way to discover the Adelaide Hills and play at your favourite destinations.
Play your day

From 11.15am, follow DJ Sepia's Speaker Bike Ride along the Amy Gillett Bikeway, riding through the hills toward Mt Torrens via Charleston.
At Mt Torrens enjoy local markets, food, and entertainment filling the bikeway with music and colour.
The ride is mostly off-road and family-friendly, covering 23 km in total with a chill-out zone at Charleston along the way with fruit, playground and picnic facilities.
Participants are welcome to ride all or part of the route or simply visit one hub and enjoy the activities.
Speaker Bike Ride with DJ Sepia - a cycling magical musical tour!
Experience cycling in a whole new way with this fun, music-filled ride along the Amy Gillett Bikeway with DJ Sepia.
Ride along with the DJ while listening to an uplifting mix and take in the picturesque surroundings.
We'd love to see riders decorate their bikes and dress in bright, cheerful colours to add some colour to the day!
The route follows what once was an old railway line and is now a sealed bitumen track purpose built for recreational riding, walking and running. The trail is mostly flat, with a gentle incline over several kilometres near Mount Torrens offering a safe and relaxed cycling environment for families and young riders.
The full ride covers 23 kilometres, but participants are welcome to join for all or part of the journey. You can start at Woodside, Charleston, with the finish in Mount Torrens making it easy to choose a distance that suits your family.
A fun, inclusive, and memorable cycling experience — perfect for kids, parents, and anyone who loves bikes, music, and the outdoors.
