Set intentions and visualise your goals for 2026 in this collage-based vision board session at Stirling Library!

This workshop is aimed at adults - open to ages 16+.

What is a vision board?

A vision board (or dream board or inspiration board) is a collection of images and words that inspire and motivate you to reach your goals. They can be either physical (on paper) or virtual (on your device) and both often take the form of a collage. Vision boards help you represent and visualise changes you'd like to see in your life, habits you want to continue or form, and areas of focus in your personal and professional life. Maybe you want to learn to cook more from scratch, save up for a holiday to your dream destination, or spend more quality time with family and friends. A vision board is an easy (and fun) way to visualise these goals and keep them top of mind.

What will this session include?

Expect a relaxed, welcoming, collage session as we create physical vision boards! While the construction of the boards will be largely self-led, we will go over the basics of vision board construction and offer some 'hot tips' and guidance at the beginning of the session. You might like to have a brainstorm about your goals and hopes for 2026 before the session - but it's okay if you're 'starting from scratch' too!

Coffee and tea will be provided.

What materials be used?

We will provide collaging materials (A3 sized card, magazines/books, glue and scissors for use within the library). You might like to bring some of your own materials to use on your own board, or to share with others in the session. This could include photos, old magazines and books, receipts or ticket stubs, stickers, and other collage-able items which have meaning to you.

Is there a cost?

This is a free workshop but bookings are essential. If you can no longer make it, please let us know so your place can become available for another attendee.
