Save Our Wildlife Foundation Inc. (SOWFI), in partnership with NSW Wildlife Information, Rescue and Education Service Inc. (WIRES), is offering a Wildlife Rescue 101 session to teach participants how to safely rescue, handle, and transport sick, injured, or orphaned native wildlife.

The session combines an online learning component with a 2-hour practical workshop at Woorabinda Education Centre, covering safe handling, injury assessment, and species identification. Participants gain foundational rescue knowledge and practical skills to support local wildlife outcomes.
