

Pioneer Women's Trail (Mid Point)
Starting in Verdun and traversing the Adelaide Hills through to Beaumont (Burnside), the Pioneer Women's Trail is a walking route that closely follows the route early European Settlers once used to trade goods between the hills and Adelaide.

The Pioneer Women's Trail is a walking route developed by the National Trust of South Australia. The route takes walkers from Verdun, through Bridgewater, Mount George, Stirling and Crafers, for 13 km. The route then continues through Cleland Conservation Park and finishes at Brock Reserve, Beaumont. The Pioneer Women's Trail honours the early European settles from Hahndorf, who travelled from the Hills to Adelaide to trade goods and foodstuffs.
