The ROAR talent tour is an opportunity for young Adelaide Hills musicians between 11 - 25 years to perform on local stages.
This joint initiative between Onkaparinga Lions Club and Adelaide Hills Council is a battle of the bands style competition open to solo performers, duos and bands of all styles and genres.
Split into two age groups, 11-17 years and 18-25 years, performers will have a chance to perform in local halls and go in the running to win a spot to perform at the 2024 Vintage Vibes music festival, or two day of recording time in a studio, plus mixing and mastering.
Application information
Performers who wish to enter the Competition must have a strong connection to the Adelaide Hills region (live, work, attend school, play sports or socialise in the Hills)
Depending on the number of applications received, the ROAR Talent Tour may play out over up to three preliminary rounds and one finals night. Locations to be confirmed.
Applications are now open for solo performers, duos and bands - original material and covers welcome.
You will be asked to nominate for one of two age groups: 11-17 or 18-25. If bands have members across both age groups, choose the age group that is applicable for the majority of band members. Entrants under the age of 18 must have the written consent of their parent or legal guardian to enter
Entrants must submit demos and other supporting materials with an entry. Any such information must only contain or relate to works performed by all of the performers listed on any entry form as Competition entrants.
