Santos Women's Tour Down Under
Novatech Stage 2 Finish – Birdwood

Road closures from 7:30am (click here for more road closure information, including a map)
Event from 11:30am at the National Motor Museum (includes free entry to the Museum from 10:00am)

Starting their day in Murray Bridge, riders will make their way across the plains of Monarto and into the Hills through Oakbank, Charleston and Mount Torrens. Watch the riders sprint through the centre of Birdwood at 12:30pm before they double back through Kersbrook and fight to the finish line on Shannon Street at 1:30pm. Join us at the podium to celebrate the winner as they receive their award. Visitors can enter the Museum for free from 10:00am, so bring your family and friends to explore.

The LinkSA bus stop at Birdwood Post Office will not be serviced during road closures. For detailed information visit the LinkSA website.

Santos Women's Tour Down Under
Subaru Stage 3 Finish – Stirling

Road closures from 7:30am (click here for more road closure information, including a map)
Event from 11:30am on Stirling Oval

We're excited to welcome back the Women's tour for a second year and riders will be put through their paces again with two circuits through Heathfield and Aldgate, including an unsealed road section, before finishing at the Stirling Oval. Join us at the Stirling Oval from 11:30am to enjoy food, drinks and activities and to watch the riders fly by before their big fight to the finish at 1:00pm. Then gather around the podium as we celebrate the winner and watch the awards ceremony.

Adelaide Metro stops 36, 37 and 38 will be closed during the road closures. Temporary stops will be installed at the South Eastern Freeway on and off ramps. Visit the Adelaide Metro website for detailed information.

Novatech Stage 2 Start - Woodside

Road closures from 6:00am (click here for more road closure information, including a map)
Event from 9:30am along Onkaparinga Valley Road, Woodside

Starting in the centre of Woodside riders will complete multiple laps of the township, flying down the main street three times before turning for Oakbank and eventually on to Stirling. Come along for a hearty breakfast and watch all of the teams on the start line as the excitement builds, then stay on for the laps as you get prime position to see how the lead takes shape early.

Adelaide Metro stops 65 and 66 will be closed during the road closures. Stop 67 will temporarily be moved north of Jacaranda Drive and serviced during the road closures. Visit the Adelaide Metro website for detailed information.

Novatech Stage 2 Finish – Stirling

Road closures from 6:00am (click here for more road closure information, including a map)
Event from 11:00am along Stirling main street

Riders are returning to tackle three loops of the famous Stirling circuit through Heathfield, Mylor and Aldgate, passing through Stirling three times before battling it out to a climb finish at the Stirling Oval. The festivities will be in full swing along the main street of Stirling and on the Coventry Library Lawns from 11:00am with food and drink, market stalls, roving entertainment and activities until the final battle to the finish at 2:30pm.

Santos Tour Down Under
Subaru Stage 3 Finish - Paracombe

Road closures from 6:00am (click here for more road closure information, including a map)
Event from 11:00am along Paracombe Road and on Paracombe Oval

Join us in the township of Paracombe and enjoy local food and entertainment for all ages. Riders will wind through the hills from Unley before beginning four laps of Inglewood, Houghton and Paracombe. After looping back through Cudlee Creek the peloton will battle King of the Mountain on Torrens Hill Road to take the stage in a dramatic finish.

ROAD CLOSURES: WESTPAC CHALLENGE TOUR PRESENTED BY THE ADVERTISER
Friday 24 January 2020
Tackles the Stage 4 route from Norwood to Murray Bridge with start locations in Norwood, Williamstown, Mt Torrens, and Mannum. This is a public challenge event with a large number of participants affecting regular traffic (over 4,000 cyclists are anticipated).

Gorge Road from Bermuda Court, Athelstone, to Redden Drive, Cudlee Creek, from 6:00am to 9:30am (click for more)
Terlinga Road from Onkaparinga Valley Road, Mt Torrens, to Randell Road, Tungkillo, from 7:00am to 12:30pm (click for more)

IMPORTANT EVENT INFORMATION FOR ALL ATTENDEES
Cash or card?
Whilst most townships will have ample EFTPOS facilities and ATMs available in their main streets, there will be limited EFTPOS in Paracombe so cash is recommended.

Missing children
If a child is found separated from their family, they will be looked after by Council staff and taken to the National Motor Museum (Birdwood), Coventry Library (Stirling), or the trackside AHC marquee (Woodside and Paracombe) until a guardian is identified.

Accessibility
If you are planning to come to one of the Council hosted stages and have accessibility concerns that may affect your ability to see the race, please call us on 8408 0400 to discuss options.

Catastrophic Fire Danger
If a Catastrophic Fire Danger is declared by the CFS for the day of an event, that event will be cancelled for the safety of everyone.
