Welcome to August 2024
On the tail end of winter, wattle blossoms paint the hills a dazzling gold and the days are finally getting longer. It's a great time of the year to rug up and get out to a SALA event or explore our walking trails, markets, restaurants, cafes and wineries. The Adelaide Hills are buzzing. Embrace the change of season and stay connected with all the wonderful activities and events in our region.

If you've been busy winter pruning your garden, our Heathfield resource recovery centre has scheduled a number of free green waste disposal days, including a mid-weeker.

Next month, we'll be inviting all residents to comment on our Draft Strategic Plan. Keep an eye out on our social media channels for more information.

Interested in wattles? See the article below about the species you may find in the hills.
