Reduced Services Sunday 25 February

State libraries across the region are set to undergo planned software maintenance on Sunday, February 25, resulting in reduced services for library visitors.

The scheduled maintenance aims to enhance technology infrastructure, improve reliability, and upgrade security measures across all library systems.

During this period, several key products and services will be temporarily unavailable to library patrons. These include:

  • Library catalogues
  • Library reservations
  • Digital services including:
  • Libby
  • BorrowBox
  • LibrariesSA app
  • LinkedIn Learning

The below services will still be available:

  • Wi-Fi
  • Public computers
  • Printing
  • Self-check machines
  • Photocopying
  • Collection of reservations

The maintenance downtime is essential for implementing technology improvements that will benefit library users in the long term. It will allow for crucial upgrades to software systems, ensuring smoother operations and better service delivery.
