Listed below are upcoming temporary road closure notices for events held within the Adelaide Hills Council region.

Santos Tour Down Under

Health Partners Women’s Stage 2 Paracombe Finish (Magill to Paracombe) Sunday 18 January 

Complete closure and parking restrictions from 6:00am – 7:00pm: 

• Paracombe Road from Tilmouth Road to Hurst Road

Closure times have been put in place for public safety and to allow set up and pack down of event infrastructure. Tow away zones will be installed prior to the event to ensure the road is completely clear for the race. 

Business and resident access only from 6:00am – 7:00pm:

• Torrens Hill Road from Paracombe Road to George Road
• Paracombe Road from North East Road to Tilmouth Road
• Paracombe Road from Murray Road to Hurst Road
• No parking on bon former Paracombe Tennis Court, Paracombe Road
• No parking at the Paracombe Recreational Reserve, Paracombe Road
• No parking at the Paracombe Hall carpark, Paracombe Road 

Parking restrictions from 6:00am – 7:00pm

• No parking on bon former Paracombe Tennis Court, Paracombe Road

Health Partners Men’s Stage 2 Uraidla Finish - Norwood to Uraidla Thursday 22 January 2026

Complete closure and parking restrictions from 6:00am – 7:00pm: 

• Greenhill Road from Days Road to Swamp Road
• Swamp Road from Greenhill Road to Kidney Street
• Basket Range Road from Greenhill Road to Elborough Avenue
• Willsmore Place from Greenhill Road to end of Willsmore Place

Business and resident access only from 6:00am – 7:00pm:

• Greenhill Road from Piccadilly Road to Swamp Road
• Greenhill Road from Days Road to Parish Hill Road
• Basket Range Road from Elborough Avenue to Range Road
• Swamp Road from Kidney Street to Parish Hill Road
• Elborough Avenue from Greenhill Road to end of Elborough Avenue
• No parking on both sides of Greenhill Road from Collins Road to Swamp Road
• No parking northern side on Kidney Street from Swamp Road to Days Road
• No parking both sides on Days Road from Kidney Street to Greenhill Road
• No parking Uraidla Primary School car park
• No parking one side of street on Elborough Avenue 

Parking restrictions from 6:00am – 7:00pm:

• No parking on both sides of Greenhill Road from Collins Road to Swamp Road
• No parking northern side on Kidney Street from Swamp Road to Days Road
• No parking both sides on Days Road from Kidney Street to Greenhill Road
• No parking Uraidla Primary School car park
• No parking one side of street on Elborough Avenue 

Public parking will be available at Uraidla Primary School oval for employees, business owners and residents to help with access. We recommend if you have plans to leave your property on Thursday 22 January, you park your car in the Uraidla Primary School oval on Wednesday evening and allow for extra time to travel through the area. 

EFEX Men’s Stage 5 Start and Finish - Stirling to Stirling Sunday 25 January 2026

Complete closure and parking restrictions from 5:00am – 7:00pm: 

• Mount Barker Road, from Druid Avenue to Johnston Street / Merrion Terrace     
• Garrod Crescent, from Mount Barker Road to point approximately 40m north               
• Pritchard Drive, from Mount Barker Road to a point approximately 40m north
• Johnston Street, from Mount Barker Road to a point approximately 40m south           
• Merrion Terrace, from Mount Barker Road to a point approximately 30m north           
• Oakbank Street, from Milan Terrace to Johnson Street (Buses/Coaches & Event Vehicles Excepted)       
• Druid Avenue, from Mount Barker Road to a point approximately 20m south of Milan Terrace. Local traffic only from Milan Terrace to a point approx. 20m south (driveway access). 

Closure times have been put in place for public safety and to allow set up and pack down of event infrastructure. Tow away zones will be installed prior to the event to ensure the road is completely clear for the race. 

Parking restrictions:

• No parking Stirling Oval car park from 5:00am – 7:00pm
• No parking both sides on Oakbank Street from Johnston Street to Stirling Oval entrance from 5:00am – 7:00pm
• No parking both sides on Avenue Road from Mount Barker Road to Milan Terrace from 10:00am – 3:30pm
• No parking overnight 24 – 25 January on Mount Barker Road from Druid Avenue to Johnston Street / Merrion Terrace. Vehicles will be towed if within the road closure area at 5:00am 25 January.

Tow away zones will be installed prior to the event to ensure the road is completely clear for the race.

Detours will be in place to direct traffic, please refer to signage on the day.

The remainder of the event route will operate under ‘rolling’ road closures – SA Police will temporarily halt traffic as the race passes with the support of trained traffic marshals.

The following roads will be temporarily closed to traffic on the below dates and times.

Event date: Monday 19 January 2026 

• Approximate closure 4:00pm - 8:30pm
• Valley Drive from Norton Summit Road to Ridgeland Drive

The following roads will be temporarily closed to traffic on the below dates and times.

Event date: Saturday 24 January 2026 

• Approximate closure 8:30am – 1:00pm
• Mount Barker Road closed between AHC boundary to South Eastern Freeway exit

The following roads will be temporarily closed to traffic on the below dates and times.

Event date: Sunday 3 May 2026 

• Approximate closure 7:30am - 5:00pm
• Euston Road, Aldgate, closed from Mount Barker Road to Edgeware Road
