All Development Applications are lodged via the PlanSA portal. A range of information is needed to assess applications, with some applications needing more than others. The information below outlines the type of information required, the steps you can expect as we assess your application and useful links to track and monitor applications.

Planning and Design Code

Development Application Process
All development is required to go through a development application and approval process which is mostly facilitated through the state government's state-wide planning system, PlanSA.

Applications on Public Notification
Public Notification is an important part of the planning system as it provides an opportunity for the public to comment on development that may impact them, the community and environment more generally.
Mandatory Building Notification
After development approval is granted, a Decision Notification Form will be issued that lists the mandatory building notifications and timeframes that are required to be submitted.
