The incumbent will collaborate with other employees across the organisation to assist departments to achieve their goals. This position works within a dynamic, service focused environment, with ongoing changes. You will be required to make informed decisions using your judgement, guided by established policies and procedures.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- High level communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to deal with confidential information in a discrete manner.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 suite and GIS based operational workflow management systems
- An ability to manage time, plan and prioritise projects and tasks and organise work to meet deadlines and meet statutory regulations
- An ability to adapt to a changing work environments (Numerous sites, teams and operational activities)
- Experience in office administration and customer service, within a government setting
- Experience preparing staff communications including sourcing information from teams and leaders
- Excel at providing a positive customer service experience to internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with staff at all levels of the organisation and the public
- Experience in utilising corporate systems in either financing, reporting, records management
- You will be required to supply a valid National Police Clearance, Driver History Check, and Pre-Employment Medical assessment
