The Bowls Past Presidents Association of South Australia provides an opportunity for bowlers to participate in social and competitive bowls as well as social activities with other bowlers of similar backgrounds. A State Carnival is held biannually with over 100 bowlers from across the state playing at several clubs around the Hills and Lower Murray Branches.

The State Carnival is held from Monday 17 to Friday 21 April, with a rest day on the Wednesday.
