Coordinator Service Delivery (Full Time)
As the Coordinator Service Delivery within the Library and Customer Service department, you will lead and support the Customer Service and Outreach teams across a range of service points, including the Contact Centre, Libraries, Council Service Counters, Home Service, and the Mobile Library.
You will bring proven leadership experience in customer-facing environments, along with exceptional interpersonal and people management skills. Your ability to engage and support a diverse team will be key to your success.
We’re looking for a calm, proactive leader who thrives in dynamic and evolving environments. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operational requirements of three service centres, including staff rostering and resource planning.
You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the customer experience across all service channels, working collaboratively within the Library and Customer Service team and across the organisation to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Flexibility and availability at short notice to manage team coverage and operational needs is essential.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Demonstrated experience leading teams in a library and council customer service environment, with a strong understanding of multiple service delivery channels.
- A commitment to the enhancement of the customer experience through coaching, support, and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage with all areas of the organisation and community.
- Adaptability and resilience, thriving in a fast-paced environment and the ability to support to the team through change and challenges.
- The ability to respond to operational needs at short notice in a professional, proactive and calm manner.
As part of Adelaide Hills Council’s Safe Environments Policy, undertaking Child Safe Environment Training every three years, is a requirement of the position.
A valid National Police Certificate and Working with Children Check which is satisfactory to the Council’s requirements will be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
