About the Role – Executive Assistant Community Development

- General Officer Level 4 $94,673.85 to $101,540.86 (FTE) plus superannuation

Reporting to the Director Community and Development, this position provides high level executive support, including calendar and correspondence management and liaison with customers and staff. You'll coordinate meetings, prepare documents, ensure timely follow-up on key actions and assist with reports and presentations. This role also supports the operations of the directorate, facilitating internal communications and delivering high-quality customer service.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Diploma in Business or Local Government administration, or other relevant formal qualification or equivalent experience to perform at this level.
- Demonstrated high level organisational skills and initiative including experience in work planning, prioritising to meet deadlines, often with competing demands in a complex administrative environment.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills including report writing and drafting briefings and presentations.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills including the capacity to establish and maintain effective relationships with peers and stakeholders
- A valid National Police Certificate which is satisfactory to the Council’s requirements will be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
