We are seeking a highly passionate and motivated individual to assist with the development and delivery of library programs, activities and events with a focus on programming for early childhood and children.

Library Programs and Learning Officer (Permanent Part Time - 0.7 FTE)
This position reports to the Coordinator of Community Learning and Programs. We're looking for a dynamic Learning and Programs Officer to develop and deliver innovative library programs, events, and activities that support lifelong learning and reflect community needs. This position will support programs across all ages including children, youth and adult events. A key requirement for this position is to have the flexibility to deliver programs across our 3 library branches and other areas within the council region when required. This position also delivers senior-level customer service across library branches and service points.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in education, library, or information studies or demonstrated experience, expertise, and competence sufficient to perform the duties required.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of programs and/or events across all ages
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build positive working relationships and the ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Ability to be flexible and responsive at short notice
A valid National Police Certificate and Working with Children Check which is satisfactory to the Council’s requirements will be required before the successful applicant can commence in this position.
