Matilda Bookshop are delighted to be presenting Meet the Author: Sofie Laguna for the launch of her wondrous new novel, The Underworld.

Sofie Laguna

Sofie Laguna has written four novels for adults which have won numerous literary awards including the Miles Franklin Award, the Colin Roderick Award and the Indie Award. She has also been shortlisted for the Stella Prize, the ALS Gold Medal, the Voss Award, the Victorian Premier’s Literary Award and the Prime Minister’s Literary Award. Sofie’s many books for children have been published in the US and the UK and in translation in Europe and Asia, and been named Honour and Notable Books by the Children’s Book Council of Australia. 

Tickets

Tickets are $15 or you can purchase Ticket + Signed Book for $35 (The Underworld is normally $35 RRP) with the book to be collected at the event. A glass of SC Pannell wine is included in the ticket. The Underworld will also be on sale for the night for $35. If you are unable to attend on the night, there is also a Book Only (signed) option available for $35 for SA addresses (signed book will be posted after the event).
