Screenprinting with Simone - a part of the Pride of the Hills Program.

Incorporate your symbols of community, belonging, personal identity, togetherness, happiness and pride in this social screen-printing workshop.

Simone Tippett of Union St Printmakers will share the fun and know-how of how to print an original fabric item (a tote bag) in bright and beautiful colours.

Enjoy this wonderful afternoon with Union St Printmakers. Simone will inspire and guide you through the ins and outs of DIY kitchen table screen-printing.

By the end of this workshop, you will have fallen in love with this amazing art form. And you'll take home a fabulously colourful tote bag, as well as the skills to start printing at home.

Pride of the Hills is a new local working group dedicated to fostering LGBTQIA+ inclusion and visibility in the Adelaide Hills. A collaboration between Mount Barker District Council, Adelaide Hills Council, Lutheran Care, Rainbow Hub South Australia and Mount Barker Community Centre.

About the workshop facilitator

Simone has been teaching printmaking at Union St Printmakers and other locations since 2009. She also teaches in schools, hosts masterclasses, mentors in printmaking, and curates exhibitions and print folios.
