We're excited to announce that Adelaide Hills Council will host three stages of the 2024 Santos Tour Down Under.

These include the Women's Stage 2 finish in Stirling on Saturday 13 January, efex Men's Stage 2 finish in Lobethal on Wednesday 17 January, and the Men's final Stage 6 finish at Mount Lofty on Sunday 21 January.

TDU is also travelling through the Adelaide Hills on Friday 12 January for Ziptrak Women's Stage 1 and Thursday 18 January for Men's Stage 3.

“We’ll see great competition across the region and look forward to welcoming elite athletes back to this beautiful part of South Australia," said Santos Tour Down Under Race Director Stuart O'Grady OAM.

"Ziptrak (Women's) Stage 1 will start in Hahndorf, passing though towns including Echunga, Balhannah, Woodside, Lobethal and Gumeracha. The undulating route is set to calm new-season nerves.

"(Women's) Stage 2, meanwhile, will travel from the coast and into the Adelaide Hills. We’re expecting fast, aggressive racing on a circuit through Stirling and look forward to seeing fans cheering roadside.

“We’re thrilled to have stage finishes in Lobethal and Mt Lofty during our next men’s race and expect both to deliver plenty of excitement. The beautiful scenery, welcoming towns and brilliant cycling terrain the Adelaide Hills offer will be enjoyed by fans watching live, and millions more around the world,” he said.

The 2024 Santos Tour Down Under will be held from Friday 12 - Sunday 21 January.
