Bushfire Preparedness Day comes to Bridgewater Oval on Sunday November 30
Join the Country Fire Service at Bridgewater Oval on Saturday 30 November for a family-friendly day focused on bushfire preparedness.
The CFS is partnering with Adelaide Hills Council, the Australian Red Cross, and the Aldgate and Bridgewater Community Support Hub to bring you hands-on activities, demonstrations, and practical advice to help you get ready for the fire season.
There will be games for kids, fire trucks to explore, free sausage sizzle, virtual reality bushfire simulations, and live firefighting demonstrations throughout the day.

Scheduled Events
- Firefighting demonstrations: 10.30am, 11.30am, 1.30pm, 2.30pm
- Cadet skills presentation: 12.30pm
- Sausage sizzle: 12.30pm – 2.30pm
- Bushfire and emergency readiness seminars at the Sports Club: 11am, 1pm, 2pm
