Honour Boards of the Adelaide Hills

Honour Boards of the Adelaide Hills is the outcome of a history project and documents the Honour Boards recording the names of Hills residents who served in major conflicts of the 20th century.

Honour Board Adelaide Hills

The Honour Boards of the Adelaide Hills was published in April 2016, following the publication of Monuments of the Adelaide Hills in April 2015

This publication provides comprehensive documentation and detailed photographs of the Honour Boards listing Adelaide Hills residents who served and, in many tragic cases, paid the supreme sacrifice to guarantee the freedom of our nation and people.

With thanks to a grant from the ANZAC Day Commemoration Council and the South Australian Department of Treasury and Finance, Council was able to conduct research with RSL groups, schools, community groups, history groups, and the general community to locate, restore and document these important historical markers.

Copies of this publication are now available from Adelaide Hills Council Libraries or from the link below. Any donations received in return for a copy of the publication will be given to Soldier On — an organisation that enables serving and ex-serving veterans and their families to thrive.
