Council Services impacted by extreme weather conditions

Extreme weather conditions will impact Council services and events over the long weekend.

The Gumeracha Library and the Heathfield Resource Recovery Centre will be closed on Saturday 24 Jan due to the Extreme fire danger rating.

If you need a place to stay on cool on Saturday 24 January, the Coventry Library in Stirling and Woodside Library will remain open. You can also access our digital library any time and in any place! Visit: Digital Library • Adelaide Hills Council

Waste collection on Monday 26 Jan may also be impacted. Please keep an eye on the Council social channels and website for updates. https://ow.ly/Jaev50Y1xkF

Please remember high risk activities such as hot works—including angle grinding, welding, and cutting tools—and any wood burning activities, including wood-burning BBQs and ovens must not be undertaken. These restrictions are in place to keep our community safe, as even small sparks or embers can quickly lead to dangerous fires under Extreme fire danger conditions.

Stay cool and stay safe!
