Funding still available through Minor Grants and Youth Incentive Grants
Have a community idea or activity you’d like to bring to life? Funding is still available through Council’s Minor Grants and Youth Incentive Grants programs for eligible Adelaide Hills residents and organisations.
These grants provide practical support for community projects and help young people take part in sporting, cultural and civic activities.
Minor Grants
Council’s Minor Grants program provides once-off, low-level financial support for projects that benefit the community and align with Council’s Strategic Plan. These grants are designed to support initiatives that fall outside other grant funding programs.
- Funding covers up to 50% of the total project cost, to a maximum of $300
- Grants are released in two allocation periods: January–June and July–December
- Funding is available until the allocated budget is exhausted
- Community groups may receive a Minor Grant every second year
Youth Incentive Grants
Youth Incentive Grants support young people under 25 years of age to participate in sporting, cultural or civic activities that contribute to personal development and community involvement.
- Individual applicants may apply for $100 to attend representative activities
- Eligible activities include sporting competitions, cultural programs or civic participation opportunities
